Idaho Hunt Planner

Idaho Fish & Game has a great tool to use before you leave for your next hunting trip. Please take the time to learn about the land ownership and always ask first for permission to hunt on private land--its the law.

Care/Share Signs

Nearly 80% of Idaho rangelands are publically managed.  These lands are managed for multiple use.  Millions of acres are available for livestock grazing, outdoor recreation, and sight-seeing opportunities.  Working together we can all enjoy these beautiful areas.  If you are out and see one of these signs, please take the time to read and follow the instructions.

About the Care and Share Program

The Care and Share information and education campaign was initiated by the Bureau of Land Management Shoshone Field Office and the Idaho Rangeland Resource Commission (IRRC) to prevent and reduce conflicts between ranchers and outdoor recreationists on public and private lands.

Recreation and Rangelands

"Idaho's Rangelands - Playgrounds and Workplaces"

Idaho's rangelands make great playgrounds for outdoor recreationists. They are also important workplaces for ranchers. There is plenty of room on Idaho’s rangelands for all of us if we take care of the land and treat each other with respect.
